How does the virtual card recommendation quiz pick a provider?
It adds up points for 8 providers based on your 5 answers and shows the top 3. The questions cover monthly ad spend, main ad platform, industry, number of cards needed, and your top priority: lowest cost, BIN quality, Chinese-language support or crypto top-ups.
Every provider has a fixed score from 1 to 5 for each answer option. The tool sums the five scores and sorts from highest to lowest; ties keep the tool's built-in provider order. The 8 providers are PST.NET, WooshPay, Buvei, Dash.fi, FOMEPay, Dupay, Wallester and NOBEPAY. The scores are the tool's own judgement, not official provider terms.
How should I read the match score and estimated monthly cost?
Match score is the total divided by the maximum of 25; estimated cost is a budget midpoint times the provider's rate. The midpoint comes from question one: under USD 1,000 counts as 500, 1,000 to 5,000 as 3,000, 5,000 to 30,000 as 17,500, and 30,000+ as 50,000. Rates are built into the tool, for example WooshPay 0.1%, Dash.fi 0.45%, Buvei 2.5% and PST.NET 4%.
Example: choosing USD 1,000 to 5,000, Meta, e-commerce, 1 to 5 cards and lowest cost gives WooshPay 25 points, a 100% match and an estimated 3,000 × 0.1% = USD 3 a month. Dash.fi scores 20 (80%, about USD 14). Buvei and Wallester tie at 19, and Buvei takes third place by list order at about USD 75. Provider pricing changes, so confirm fees with the provider before signing up.
FAQ
- How many questions are in the virtual card recommendation quiz?
- Five: monthly ad spend, main ad platform, industry, number of virtual cards needed, and your top priority. After the last answer the quiz shows its top 3 providers.
- How is the match percentage calculated?
- Each provider has a built-in score of 1 to 5 for every answer; the five scores are added and divided by the maximum of 25, so 20 points shows as 80%.
- How accurate is the estimated monthly cost?
- It is a rough figure: the midpoint of your budget range (USD 500, 3,000, 17,500 or 50,000) multiplied by the tool's built-in rate, without issuing fees or exchange rates. Use the provider's own quote for actual pricing.
- What happens when two providers have the same score?
- Tied providers keep the tool's built-in order, so the one listed earlier ranks higher; for example, Buvei ranks ahead of Wallester when both score 19.
